Technology Enabled Care

Technology makes it possible for people to live safely and independently in their own homes for longer. It helps people manage their own physical and mental health. Using digital tools can save on unnecessary travel to GP surgeries and hospitals. Well presented information online can help people to understand better their own health, and find activities to help them remain healthy.

Dundee's Technology Enabled Care project is supported by the Scottish Government and the DUndee Health and Social Care Partnership. The project staff work in partnership with local communities to gather and communicate ideas, highlight best practices, and engage with communities.

The Annual Exhibition

There is an annual Technology Enabled Care exhibition which takes place in Dundee, where visitors can learn more about digital care, healthcare, and independent living in Dundee. For more information, contact Jimmy Black at jimmyblack@dva.scot or on 01382 305702
